Is this carafe dishwasher-safe?
De Bormioli Rocco Bistrot karaf is gemaakt van glas — een materiaal dat van zichzelf goed bestand is tegen de vaatwasser. Bormioli Rocco staat bekend om zijn kwalitatief hoogwaardig glaswerk dat jarenlang meegaat. Voor de beste resultaten adviseren we the carafe in the bovenste lade van de vaatwasser te zetten, zodat hij veilig en zonder klapperen staat.
Is this carafe also suitable for hot drinks like coffee or tea?
De Bistrot karaf is ontworpen als waterkaraf en is het meest geschikt voor koude of lauwwarme dranken. Glas geleidt warmte en een plotselinge temperatuurschok — denk aan kokend heet water — kan het glas belasten. Gebruik hem daarom bij voorkeur voor water, sap, limonade of koude thee.
How many glasses does one carafe fill?
De Bormioli Rocco Bistrot karaf heeft een inhoud van 1 liter. Hoeveel glazen je daarmee vult, hangt af van het formaat glas: • Waterglazen van 200 ml → circa 5 glazen • Waterglazen van 250 ml → circa 4 glazen • Grotere drinkglazen van 330 ml → circa 3 glazen Zo weet je precies wanneer je bij moet vullen aan tafel.

How do I best store and care for the carafe?
Om de Bistrot karaf in topconditie te houden, zijn dit de praktische tips: • Rinse the carafe immediately after use so no stains or residue form. • For limescale: fill the carafe with water and a splash of white vinegar, let it sit briefly and then rinse well. • Store the carafe upright in a dry place, not upside down — this way the glass dries properly and won’t absorb odours. Glass is a non-porous material, which means it does not absorb smells or flavours and is therefore easy to keep clean.
