No, the LIND DNA Onderzetters Nupo are not dishwasher-safe. Leather and heat or a lot of water simply don’t mix — the same goes for recycled leather. Here’s the best way to keep them clean: • Remove stains immediately with LIND DNA Dieptereinigende Zeep for recycled leather. • For daily maintenance, use the LIND DNA Clean & Care spray on a soft cloth. • Then let them air dry — do not put them in the dryer or leave them in the sun.
How should I store the coasters to prevent deformation?
Always store the coasters flat. Do not stack them at an angle and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight — that can cause discoloration of the leather. In short: • Store flat, do not roll or stack unevenly. • Keep away from direct sunlight. • Store at room temperature, away from heat sources. The Nupo finish has a soft, suede-like texture that is best maintained with the recommended LIND DNA cleaning products.
