Note: when taking out of the dishwasher, the bottom rim may sometimes still be a bit damp, which can cause rings. This applies to practically every stoneware tableware. This is not the case with porcelain.

Yes, the Cookinglife Dinerborden Delice Blauw are oven-safe. You can use them to keep dishes warm or to heat them briefly in the oven — handy when you have guests and want to put everything on the table at once. For safe use, always follow the maximum temperature your oven specifies for earthenware tableware.

How should I best clean these plates?

These plates are dishwasher-safe, so they can go in the dishwasher. Note the following to keep the color and glaze looking their best for as long as possible: • Use a mild dishwashing detergent — also when washing by hand. • Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can damage the glaze. • Allow the plates to dry thoroughly before storing. • After the dishwasher the bottom ring of the plate may still be slightly damp. This can leave rings on your tabletop — a known occurrence with earthenware tableware.
