FAQ

Can I use the pasta plates in the oven?

Yes — the Delice Blauw pasta plates are oven-safe. You can use them not only for serving, but also to keep dishes warm or to reheat them in the oven.

How do I care for the glaze and color of the plates?

A few simple habits will keep the plates looking good for a long time: • Use a mild dish detergent when handwashing — harsh cleaners can damage the glaze. • Avoid abrasive sponges or cleaning agents. • Let the plates dry thoroughly before storing them. • Note: the bottom rim can sometimes remain slightly damp after the dishwasher, which can cause rings. This is normal for earthenware — dry the underside briefly. Due to the glazing process, slight color variations between plates may occur; this is a characteristic of the material.

Does a full portion of pasta really fit comfortably in this plate?

Absolutely. The plates have a diameter of 23 cm and a slightly raised rim, so a generous portion of pasta, risotto, or salad fits without immediately spilling over. The deeper shape keeps sauces and moist dishes neatly in place.

Are the plates suitable for everyday use or are they fragile?

The Delice Blauw plates are made of sturdy earthenware and are suitable for daily use. That said, earthenware in general is not unbreakable. Treat them with normal kitchen care — don’t drop them — and they'll last for years. The plates are dishwasher-safe, which makes everyday use much more practical.

How many plates are in the set and for how many people is it suitable?

The set contains 6 Delice Blauw pasta plates, each with a diameter of ø 23 cm. That's exactly enough for a table of six people.

Verschillende kleuren in dezelfde tint, staan erg feestelijk.

Marjolein W. 5/5 Verified July 19, 2026

Ontzettend leuke...frisse...handige ...makkelijke bordjes.
