FAQ
What material is the Bormioli Rocco Ypsilon carafe made of?
The carafe is made of glass. Glass does not absorb flavors or odors, remains neutral, and is hygienic and easy to clean. Thanks to the transparent glass you can always see at a glance how much is left in the carafe.
Is the cork included with the carafe, or do I have to buy it separately?
The cork is included as standard with the carafe — you don't need to order anything extra. The cork lets you easily seal the carafe.
What drinks can I use this carafe for?
The Bormioli Rocco Ypsilon carafe is primarily intended as a water carafe. You can also use it for other cold drinks, such as lemonade, fruit juice or iced tea. The cork seals the carafe so your drink is kept until you want to pour it.
How many glasses can you fill from a 500 ml carafe?
With a capacity of 500 ml you can fill, depending on the glass size, 2 to 3 glasses. Expect 2 standard drinking glasses of 200 to 250 ml, or 3 smaller glasses of about 150 ml.
Is the Ypsilon carafe part of a broader product line from Bormioli Rocco?
Yes, the carafe is part of the Bormioli Rocco Ypsilon collection. Other products from this collection are also available at Cookinglife.
