Can I use the racks separately, or do they always have to be stacked?
You can use each rack completely on its own — stacking is an option, not a requirement. When used separately, the racks are stable on their own. The stacking system gives you the freedom to adjust the arrangement to the available space, for example side by side or vertically.
Do larger bottles, such as magnum bottles, fit in this rack?
The rack is designed for standard wine bottles (0.75 liters). Magnum bottles (1.5 liters) have a larger diameter and therefore do not fit in the openings of this rack. The internal size of the bottle openings is tailored to the common Bordeaux and Burgundy shapes.
