Villeroy & Boch Cutlery Set Oscar - Stainless Steel - 68-piece / 12 people

Some cutlery sets just sit in the drawer. The Villeroy & Boch Oscar Cutlery Set - 68 pieces in mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel - earns a place at the table every single time. Whether it's a casual Tuesday dinner or a celebration that deserves to be remembered, this is the flatware that makes every meal feel like an occasion worth savoring.

Why the Oscar Set Steals the Show

• Complete set - 68 pieces for 12 persons, including main table cutlery and 8 additional serving pieces such as a salad fork, salad spoon and sauce ladle for a fully complete table setting.
• 18/10 stainless steel - The gold standard for flatware. High nickel content means genuine resistance to food acids, staining, and corrosion.
• Mirror-polished finish - That brilliant silver shine doesn't just look stunning on a laid table - it stays stunning, wash after wash.
• Dishwasher safe - Because life is too short to hand-wash a 68-piece set after a dinner party.
• Timeless design - The Oscar aesthetic works equally well with fine bone china and everyday ceramic. It adapts, effortlessly.

The Material That Actually Matters

Here's the thing about 18/10 stainless steel: the numbers tell the real story. 18% chromium for corrosion resistance. 10% nickel for that deep, lasting shine and resilience against food acids - the vinaigrettes, citrus marinades, and tomato sauces that are part of every real kitchen life. The Oscar set doesn't just look premium, it's engineered to stay that way. You're not buying flatware you'll replace in three years. You're buying pieces that earn their place at your table for decades.

Setting the Table, Your Way

The Oscar collection's secret is its versatility. That mirror finish pairs effortlessly with a crisp white tablecloth for a formal dinner, but it looks just as at home on a wooden table with a casual Sunday roast. You set the scene, the Oscar set rises to meet it. Twelve place settings means you're covered for birthdays, holiday gatherings, or those impromptu dinner parties that turn into the evenings everyone talks about for months. And the 8 supplementary serving pieces? That's the detail that separates a thoughtful set from a basic one. Serving dishes, salad bowls, family-style platters - you've got the tools to serve with style, not just eat with it.

Villeroy & Boch: A Name That Delivers

Villeroy & Boch has been crafting exceptional tableware since 1748. That's not a marketing claim - that's a track record. When you bring Oscar to your table, you're connecting to a tradition of quality that has genuinely stood the test of time. This is flatware that could be passed down, gifted with pride, or simply enjoyed every day with the quiet satisfaction of knowing you chose well.

💡 Tip: To keep your cutlery looking its absolute best, remove it from the dishwasher promptly after the cycle ends and dry with a soft cloth before storing. This prevents any water spots from settling on the high-gloss finish - and your cutlery will look showroom-fresh every time you set the table.
