Is this cutlery dishwasher safe?

Yes, the Sambonet Bestekset Linear is fully dishwasher safe. After use, just put the cutlery in the dishwasher — no fuss, no hand-scrubbing. That's exactly the no-nonsense convenience you want for everyday use. The material is stainless steel 18/10 PVD, which provides strong resistance to discoloration and rust, even after repeated washing.

What is stainless steel 18/10 PVD and why does it matter?

18/10 refers to the composition of the stainless steel: 18% chromium and 10% nickel. This gives the cutlery its characteristic shine and provides excellent corrosion resistance. PVD stands for Physical Vapour Deposition, a coating technique that further increases surface hardness. The result: cutlery that keeps its appearance even with intensive use and regular washing.

How many people is this cutlery set suitable for and what exactly is included?

The set is suitable for 6 people and contains a total of 36 pieces. Per person you have: • 1 tablespoon • 1 dinner fork • 1 steak knife • 1 dessert fork • 1 dessert knife • 1 teaspoon With 6 pieces per category you cover a full table for six guests, from main course to dessert.

Is this cutlery set suitable for everyday use, or is it more for special occasions?

This set is perfectly suitable for everyday use. The robust stainless steel 18/10 PVD is designed to withstand intensive use without compromising on appearance. The timeless Linear style of Sambonet also fits just as well with a midweek meal as with a festively set table. The dishwasher-safe design makes it practical for daily use.

How do I care for this cutlery so it stays beautiful for a long time?

Good news: this cutlery requires little maintenance. A few tips to keep the cutlery in top condition: • Preferably wash the cutlery in the dishwasher on a normal cycle. • Do not leave it wet for too long after washing — drying immediately or removing it promptly from the dishwasher prevents water spots. • Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool; these can damage the surface. Thanks to the PVD coating and 18/10 stainless steel, this cutlery is naturally well protected against rust and discoloration.
