Is the OXO Good Grips Mandoline dishwasher-safe?
It's worth noting that the mandoline's blade needs extra care. OXO recommends washing the mandoline by hand. Use warm water with a little dish soap and a soft sponge — this keeps the blade sharp and the mandoline in top condition. So don't just throw it in the dishwasher, as that will dull the blade.
How do I set the slice thickness on the OXO Good Grips Mandoline?
You set it in one motion: simply turn the knob on the side of the mandoline. You can choose from three fixed settings: • 0.16 cm – for paper-thin slices, ideal for chips or vegetable carpaccio • 0.32 cm – a versatile middle ground for salads and vegetable dishes • 0.64 cm – slightly thicker, perfect for potato gratin or apple pie The adjustment knob is located on the side of the unit.

It has been a very usefull device in the kitchen. I have got two of them: for myself and for my relative. If you need to shred cabbage fast, there is nothing better than this thing.
Ik heb deze al in 250ml en vind 'm zo handig dat ik 'm groter wilde. Lang hoefde ik dus niet na te denken toen ik 'm zag! Je kunt rechtop blijven staan en ziet dan duidelijk tothoeveel ml je de maatbeker hebt gevuld. Echt héél handig. En de kwaliteit is ook super. Geen glas, maar heel stevig kunststof dat ook heel goed schoon te krijgen is. Echt toppers zijn deze maatbeker!!!
