About Hendi

FAQ

Can I put the tortillapers in the dishwasher?

The Hendi tortillapers is made of metal with a coated finish. To keep the coating in good condition, we recommend hand washing. Rinse the press with warm water and a mild detergent and then dry it thoroughly.

What types of dough can I use this press for?

The tortillapers is versatile and works well with various types of dough. Think of: • Corn or wheat tortillas • Empanada dough • Dumpling dough • Other filled dough dishes The 20 cm diameter gives you enough space for large, even rounds.

Is the tortillapers suitable for professional or intensive use?

Yes, absolutely. The Hendi tortillapers is sturdily built from metal with a coated finish and is designed for intensive use — both in a home kitchen and in a catering environment. The robust handle provides grip and holds up well even with frequent use.

How do I prevent my dough from sticking to the press?

A handy trick: place a sheet of baking paper or plastic wrap on both sides of the dough before pressing. This way the dough slides out easily and keeps the press clean. This works well for all types of dough you use in the Hendi tortillapers.

What's included in the package?

The package contains: • 1 × Hendi tortillapers, red, ø 20 cm No additional accessories or extra parts are included.
