FAQ

Is this carafe dishwasher-safe?

For glass carafes with a stainless steel lid (RVS) we always recommend treating the two parts separately. Glass is generally dishwasher-safe, but the stainless steel lid will last longer if you wash it by hand. This prevents the threads or the seal from wearing out more quickly. Want to be sure? Washing by hand with warm water and a mild dish detergent is the safest choice for both parts.

Can I use this carafe for hot drinks?

The Atla karaf is made of glass and is primarily intended for cold drinks such as water, lemonade or chilled fruit juice. Glass conducts heat quickly to the outside, so the carafe can feel hot with warm liquids. It is excellent for everyday use with cold drinks. The capacity is 1 liter.

What exactly is included in the packaging?

You will receive the Cosy & Trendy Atla karaf complete with the matching stainless steel lid (RVS). Everything you need to serve straight away is included with the carafe. The carafe has a capacity of 1 liter and is finished in the colour Mineral Green.

How should I care for the stainless steel lid?

The stainless steel lid screws onto the glass body of the carafe. To keep the threads in good condition, here are a few handy tips: • Screw the lid on and off straight — turning it on at an angle puts unnecessary strain on the threads. • Rinse the lid thoroughly after use with clean water to prevent mineral deposits. • Dry the inside of the lid well before storing it so no moisture remains. The lid is made of stainless steel (RVS), which makes it corrosion-resistant during normal use.

Can this carafe be taken on the go, or is it only intended for home use?

The Atla karaf falls under the subcategory 'To Go', so it is designed with portability in mind. At the same time the body is made of glass, so handle it with care when taking it on the go — glass is naturally more fragile than plastic or metal. It is perfectly suitable for use at the table, on a terrace, or to take to the office in a bag with protection. The capacity is 1 liter.
