The Cosy & Trendy Atla karaf is made of glass with a stainless steel lid. Glass is generally dishwasher-safe, but for the stainless steel lid we recommend hand washing. That keeps the metal looking nice and extends the life of the seal.

Is the stainless steel lid really watertight — can I take the carafe with me on the go?

Yes — the carafe has a stainless steel lid that seals the bottle. The subcategory of this product is To Go, which means it is designed to be taken with you. Ideal for the office, outdoors or when you’re on the go.

How do I best clean the inside of the carafe?

For a thorough cleaning, use a bottle brush with warm water and a mild dish soap. That way you can reach the bottom and the sides of the carafe. Rinse well afterwards with clean water. The stainless steel lid is best washed by hand — not in the dishwasher.
