FAQ

Are these breakfast plates microwave-safe?

Yes, the Baltic Luna breakfast plates are microwave-safe. This lets you quickly warm your breakfast or dessert without needing extra dinnerware. Keep one important tip in mind: do not put the plates directly from the refrigerator into the microwave or oven. Let them come gradually to room temperature first so you can enjoy them for years to come.

Can I use these plates in the oven?

Yes, the Baltic Luna plates are oven-safe — handy if you want to gratinate a dessert or keep something warm. Note one thing: avoid sudden temperature changes. Never place the plates straight from the fridge into a hot oven. Letting them come up to temperature gradually prevents cracks or breakage and ensures you enjoy this dinnerware for longer.

What's the best way to clean the Baltic Luna plates?

The plates are dishwasher-safe, so washing up is quick and effortless. If you prefer to wash them by hand, use a mild detergent — it's gentlest on the surface. Always make sure the plates are completely dry before stacking or storing them. That will keep them in top condition.

What material are these plates made of and what makes each plate unique?

The Baltic Luna plates are made of earthenware. That's exactly what makes them special: due to the handcrafted production, each plate has its own unique pattern and texture. No two plates are exactly the same. The result is a table that looks slightly different every time — organic, warm and full of character.

How many people is this set suitable for and what fits on a plate of ø 20 cm?

The set consists of 6 plates, so you can set the table for six people at once. With a diameter of 20 cm, the plates are ideal for: • A generous portion of breakfast • A slice of cake or pie • Small desserts or amuse-bouches The size is large enough for a full portion but compact enough to also work as a dessert plate.
