Cosy & Trendy Cutting Board Set Gabon 2-piece - Bamboo - M & XL

Two cutting boards, one smart choice. The Cosy & Trendy Cutting Board Set Gabon always gives you the right size at hand - whether you're quickly halving an avocado or filleting a whole chicken. Bamboo is the perfect material for this: incredibly strong, surprisingly light, and naturally beautiful to look at. This is the cutting board that adorns your kitchen table and saves your knives.

Why the Gabon set turns your kitchen upside down

• Always the right size - The set consists of a medium (M) and an extra large (XL) board. For every cutting moment - from chopping herbs to slicing bread - just grab the board that fits.
• Bamboo that really makes a difference - Bamboo wood is harder than most types of wood, wears less quickly, and stays beautiful for years. Smart buying, long enjoyment.
• Integrated juice groove - The practical groove around catches juices, moisture, and crumbs. Less hassle on your countertop, more focus on what really matters: cooking delicious meals.
• Lightweight, heavy on quality - Bamboo is naturally light, making it easy to pick up and set down the boards - even the large XL.
• Stylish natural brown - The warm brown color fits in any kitchen, from modern to rustic. They look just as good on the countertop as on the table.

Bamboo: not just any wood

Many people choose a wooden cutting board out of habit. But bamboo is not just any wood - it is actually a type of grass, and that is exactly what makes it so special. Bamboo grows back incredibly quickly, making it a sustainable choice that is good for you and for the planet. Moreover, it is naturally less porous than regular wood, which means bacteria have less chance to thrive.

The boards from the Gabon collection by Cosy & Trendy are rectangular and have a height of 18 mm - sturdy enough to withstand, but not so thick that they feel clunky. The M board (300 x 340 mm) is ideal for your daily cutting tasks. The XL (360 x 510 mm) gives you all the space when you go big: think of a Sunday with fresh pasta, an extensive cheese platter, or a festive barbecue preparation.

The juice groove: the small detail that makes a big difference

Anyone who has ever sliced a juicy tomato or carved a steak knows that moment: the juice runs over the countertop, over your hands, maybe even onto the floor. No more. The integrated juice groove of the Gabon boards neatly catches excess moisture. It is a simple solution for an everyday annoyance - and exactly the kind of thoughtful detail that makes cooking a bit more enjoyable.

Whether you're squeezing a lemon, peeling a mango, or carving a roasted chicken: the groove keeps your workspace clean and dry. No extra kitchen towels, no frustrated soaking countertops. Just cut, serve, and enjoy.

Two sizes, endless possibilities

A 2-piece set may sound like a luxury, but in practice, it just makes sense. You use the M board for small tasks: finely chopping herbs, peeling an onion, slicing some cheese for a snack. The XL takes over when it really matters - during that extensive Sunday meal, the festive dinner, or when you're just in the flow and don't want to keep switching.

And that they have the same style at the same time? That's the wink from Cosy & Trendy: functional and tasteful in one breath.

💡 Cookinglife Tip: Occasionally rub your bamboo cutting boards with a bit of food oil (such as olive or sunflower oil) and let it soak in. This keeps the bamboo supple, prevents cracking, and keeps the boards looking new for years. Hand washing with lukewarm water and a bit of dish soap is all you need - bamboo does not go in the dishwasher.
