About Cookinglife

FAQ

Is this tray suitable for outdoor use, for example on the terrace?

The Bar Essential-dienblad is made from sturdy material that is durable in daily use. It is designed for both home and hospitality use, which means it can take a few knocks. For prolonged outdoor use — think strong sun or rain — we recommend storing the tray dry after use so you can enjoy it for as long as possible.

How should I best clean the tray?

For best results, clean the Bar Essential-dienblad with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. This keeps the anti-slip surface in good condition and preserves the sleek appearance. Do not use harsh abrasives or stiff scouring pads, as these can damage the surface.

Does the tray suit a sleek, modern interior?

Yes, absolutely. The Bar Essential-dienblad has a sleek design that fits a variety of styles and interiors — from modern and minimalist to rustic and warm. The neutral styling makes it easy to combine with different tableware sets and glasses. The tray has a diameter of 35.5 cm.

How many glasses or snacks fit on the tray?

With a diameter of 35.5 cm, the Bar Essential-dienblad offers ample space for multiple drinks and snacks at once. Think four to six standard drinking glasses alongside a small bowl of snacks, or a full set of aperitif glasses. The exact capacity naturally depends on the size of your glasses and plates.

What does the anti-slip surface do exactly, and does it work with wet glasses?

The anti-slip surface of the Bar Essential-dienblad ensures that glasses, plates and bowls stay firmly in place while serving — even when you're carrying it from the kitchen to the table. The texture of the surface creates friction between the tray and your tableware, preventing slipping. This also works with lightly moist glasses, but with glasses that have heavy condensation it's always wise to carry it carefully.
