Are these mugs dishwasher-safe?
Yes, the Studio Tavola Black Tie mugs are dishwasher-safe. Just put them in your dishwasher — it saves time and is no problem for the earthenware. Keep in mind this practical point: the underside of the mugs may still be a bit damp after washing and can leave rings on surfaces. This is normal behavior for earthenware and does not reflect on the quality. After washing, place them on a tea towel to dry.
Can I use these mugs in the microwave or oven?
Absolutely. The mugs are heat-resistant up to 180 °C and suitable for both the microwave and the oven. That makes them more versatile than an ordinary coffee mug — useful if you want to heat up soup, hot chocolate or a dish. When using them in the oven, stay within the maximum temperature range of 180 °C.
How do I care for earthenware mugs?
