FAQ
Are these coffee cups dishwasher-safe?
Yes, the Delice Blauw coffee cups are fully dishwasher-safe. Cookinglife does give a handy tip: use a mild dish detergent to keep the blue colour and the glaze in the best condition, and avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Note: with earthenware tableware the bottom rim can sometimes still be a little damp after the dishwasher, which can leave rings on your table. This is normal for virtually any earthenware — it does not occur with porcelain.
Can I use these cups in the oven?
Yes, these coffee cups are oven-safe. That makes them not only suitable for your daily coffee or espresso, but also flexible to use in the kitchen. Made from sturdy earthenware, they withstand daily use and the higher temperatures in the oven.
How do I care for the glaze and colour of the cups?
To keep the fresh blue colour and the glaze looking good for as long as possible, follow these simple rules: • Use a mild dish detergent — both by hand and in the dishwasher. • Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads — they can damage the glaze. • Let the cups dry completely before storing them. Due to the glazing process slight colour variations between the cups may occur — this is a normal characteristic of earthenware.
Do these cups work with a Senseo coffee machine?
Yes, the Delice Blauw cups are explicitly suitable for use with a Senseo machine. With a capacity of 180 ml per cup they fit the standard Senseo portion perfectly. The set contains 6 cups, so you have enough for everyone at the table.
What is the exact capacity of each cup and how many cups are in the set?
Each coffee cup from the Delice Blauw set has a capacity of 180 ml. That is ideal for a morning cup of coffee, a Senseo or a small espresso. The set contains a total of 6 coffee cups.
Super leuke koffie koppen!
