You’re at the stove with a steaming pot of soup, ready to drain – and then the spilling starts, the struggle with a lid that won’t cooperate, and burnt fingers. Sound familiar? The BK Soup Pot Flow Cool Stainless Steel ø 24 cm / 6 Litres puts an end to that. This is the soup pot that simply works as you want: smart, safe, and hassle-free.
Soup for everyone at the table – and then some
With a capacity of 6 litres and a diameter of 24 cm, this pot is large enough for a family-sized pot of tomato soup, a mussel pot for the whole gathering, or a batch of pasta that’s truly enough for the hungry mouths at the table. Making stock, simmering stews, preparing a classic pea soup – the BK Flow Cool does it all with ease. And when it’s time to serve, that pot shows it too.
- 6 litres capacity – Spacious enough for large dishes: soup, stock, mussels, pasta, or stew for a full gathering.
- Unique draining system – A quarter turn and the lid locks under the silicone stoppers: drain without spilling, without panic.
- Cool handles stay cool – The high-mounted plastic handles remain cool, even when the pot is full of hot liquid.
- Measuring scale inside – You can see exactly how much is inside, without needing an extra measuring cup or mess.
- Stackable design – Space-saving to stack, keeping your kitchen tidy, even with a full cupboard.
- 25-year guarantee – BK fully stands behind this pot. That’s not marketing talk, that’s confidence in their quality.
- PFAS-free – No harmful substances, just good and safe cooking.
The smartest lid in your kitchen: the Flow Cool draining system
This is the distinguishing feature of the entire Flow Cool series, and rightly so. You turn the lid a quarter turn, it locks under the black silicone stoppers, and you drain safely. The hot liquid drains away in a controlled manner while the contents – pasta, vegetables, mussels – stay neatly in the pot. No need to set up a separate colander, no steam clouds in your face, no last-minute fiddling with a tea towel because the lid slips away. This is how draining should work: safely, quickly, and without stress. A small improvement with a big effect on your cooking experience.
💡 Tip: Use the measuring scale on the inside when making stock or following a recipe with precise amounts of water or liquid. You can see immediately how many litres are inside, and you don’t need to lift the pot to grab a measuring cup. Handy, and much safer with a heavy, hot pot.
Stainless Steel 18/10 with encapsulated base: quality you can feel
The BK Flow Cool is made from Stainless Steel 18/10 – the material that professionals and home cooks worldwide appreciate for its durability, hygiene, and timeless appearance. Stainless Steel does not react with food, does not absorb odours or flavours, and still looks as good as new after years of use. The encapsulated base ensures even heat distribution: no hot spots, no burning in the middle while the edges stay cold. Your soup cooks evenly, your stock simmers gently and controlled, and your stew simmers just as it should.
And then the handles: high-mounted, made of plastic, and they stay cool. That last point may seem obvious, but anyone who has ever lifted a pot with hot handles knows how important that detail is. With the Flow Cool, you can pick up the pot without hesitation, even when it’s filled to the brim.
Suitable for any hob – and dishwasher safe
The BK Soup Pot Flow Cool works on gas, electric, halogen, ceramic, and induction. So you don’t have to worry if you switch hobs or move to a different kitchen. Moreover, the pot is oven-safe up to 160 °C – handy if you want to keep a dish warm or finish a recipe in the oven. After cooking? Just pop it in the dishwasher. The pot is fully dishwasher safe, making clean-up as easy as cooking. More time enjoying, less time scrubbing.
