Villeroy & Boch Dinnerware Set La Boule Memphis 7-piece / 2 persons - 2 bowls, 2 dishes, 2 universal plates and 1 serving dish

Forget boring dinnerware that just sits there doing nothing: the Villeroy & Boch La Boule Memphis is a dinner set that transforms your table into a genuine showstopper. Bold colours, geometric shapes, graphic contrasts - and still completely built for everyday use. This is the kind of tableware that makes you smile every single time you pull it out of the cupboard.

Why Your Table Deserves This Set

• Colorful Memphis design - The bold geometry and multicolour palette turn every meal into a visual experience worth sharing.
• Iconic bowl-shaped design - The rounded, sculptural form of La Boule sits on the table like a piece of art. It's a conversation starter before the first dish is even served.
• Premium porcelain quality - Made from high-quality porcelain in Germany, this set is built to last. Smooth surfaces, clean edges, and a weight that just feels right in your hands.
• Complete set for two - Everything you need for a full dining experience: bowls, plates, side dishes and a serving platter, all in one elegant package.
• Dishwasher and microwave safe - Beautiful AND practical. You don't have to choose between style and convenience here.
• Oven and heat resistant up to 180°C - Take it from the oven straight to the table. Less washing up, more enjoying the moment.
• Stackable - Clever storage without cluttering your cupboards. The pieces nest together neatly when not in use.

Design That Actually Says Something

Most dinnerware plays it safe. La Boule Memphis doesn't. Inspired by the radical design movement that shook up the world of interiors in the 1980s, this set brings graphic boldness and a sense of fun to your table without ever feeling chaotic. The multicolour palette is carefully balanced - vibrant enough to spark a conversation, refined enough to feel at home in any setting. Whether you're serving a slow Sunday brunch or a quick weekday dinner, these pieces make the moment feel intentional. That's the thing about great design: it doesn't shout. It just makes everything around it look better.

Built to Last, Made to Use Every Day

Great design is one thing. Quality that actually holds up is another. Villeroy & Boch has been making premium porcelain in Germany for over 275 years, and the La Boule Memphis set is a direct expression of that heritage. The porcelain is thick where it needs to be, smooth where your hands touch it, and finished to a standard that resists the daily wear and tear of real cooking and dining. This set is stackable too, which means your cupboard stays organised and the pieces stay protected. Smart design inside and out - that's what sets this apart from the purely decorative.

The Perfect Set for Two - or a Starting Point for More

At its core, this is a 7-piece dinner set designed for two people. But the La Boule Memphis collection is a world of its own - bowls, plates, serving pieces and more are available separately, so your collection can grow alongside your appetite for great tableware. Start here, build from here. The 23.9 cm serving dish is the natural centrepiece: place it in the middle of the table, load it up with something delicious, and let sharing do the rest. Good food tastes better when it's served beautifully. That's not just a feeling - it's science.

💡 Cookinglife Tip: Mix and match your La Boule Memphis pieces with plain white or natural linen for a table setting that lets the colours breathe. A single candle, a simple bunch of herbs in a glass - and suddenly dinner for two feels like a proper occasion.
