Leftover soup that stays fresh to the last drop. A meal salad that you prepare on Monday and still tastes just as good on Friday. Meal prep that finally works - without hassle, without leaks, without freezer burn. The Mepal Cirqula storage containers in Nordic Black are three bowls that together conquer your fridge, freezer, and microwave. Smart, no-nonsense, and made in the Netherlands. This is how storage should work.
Why the Mepal Cirqula changes your kitchen
How many containers have you thrown away because they leaked, discolored, or just wouldn't close anymore? The Cirqula is different - and you notice it immediately. This three-piece set (500 ml, 1 liter, and 2 liter) is built for real kitchen work: from the freezer to the microwave, from the fridge to the dining table. Everything in the same bowl, without extra dishes, without fuss.
- 100% leak and airtight - The lid closes so tightly that soup, sauce, or dressing stays in place - even if the bag tips over
- Rectangular and space-saving - Fits like a puzzle piece in your fridge or freezer, not a centimeter wasted
- Freezer, microwave, and dishwasher - Three words that make your life a lot easier
- Nesting - The three bowls fit into each other with the lid on, taking up hardly any space in your cupboard
- 100% BPA-free - Safe for you, for your family, for your food
- Transparent lid - See at a glance what’s in the fridge without having to open every box
- Made in the Netherlands - Mepal makes its products in its own country, with attention to quality that lasts
Three sizes, endless possibilities
The strength of this set lies in the combination. The 500 ml container is perfect for a portion of hummus, a handful of chopped herbs, or the leftovers of your favorite dip. The 1 liter container keeps a hearty meal salad fresh or stores that delicious tomato sauce you lovingly prepared on Sunday. And the 2 liter container? It's made for the big jobs: a full pot of soup, a batch of bolognese, or that meal prep session where you cook for the whole week.
The beauty is that all three sizes have the same reliable closure. The lid clicks tightly shut - airtight and aroma-tight - so the smell of your garlic sauce stays in the container and doesn’t spread throughout your fridge. That’s smart storage.
And when you’re ready to eat? Lid off, container straight into the microwave. Warmed up and serve - because the Cirqula also goes straight to the table. The sleek Nordic Black color ensures that this container doesn’t look like leftovers, but like a conscious choice.
From fridge to table - without detours
This is where the Mepal Cirqula truly excels: it takes you by the hand from the moment you cook to the moment you serve. Make a big pot of pea soup? Divide it among the bowls, put the lids on, and into the freezer. Next week, straight from the freezer to the microwave (lid off, of course). Ready? On the table. Finished eating? Into the dishwasher. It’s that easy.
The rectangular shape is no coincidence - it’s a deliberate choice by the designers at Mepal. Rectangular containers stack better, fit more efficiently in fridges and freezers, and utilize every centimeter. Anyone who has ever tried to stack a round container understands exactly why this works better.
And cleaning? Just put it in the dishwasher. No scrubbing, no burnt edges, no fuss. The robust PP material withstands temperatures up to 110 degrees Celsius and lasts for years. This is quality that proves itself - day after day.
Meal prep like a pro - with a wink
Imagine this: it’s Sunday. You’ve spent two hours in the kitchen and have a week’s worth of food ready. Lentil soup in the large container, roasted vegetables in the medium one, a fresh dressing in the small. Everything sealed, stacked in the fridge. The rest of the week? Warm up, serve, enjoy. More time for the things that really matter - together at the table, without stress.
The Cirqula is also perfect for lunch on the go. Lid on, bag in, at work or on the bike - the contents stay exactly where they belong. No soup stains in your bag, no half portion leaking somewhere. Just a tasty lunch waiting for you when you’re ready.
And those leftovers from last night? Extra rolls? Lid on and enjoy more tomorrow. The Cirqula makes storage fun - or at least so easy that you’ll do it automatically.
💡 Cookinglife Tip: Fill the 2 liter container with a large portion of soup or stew and place it directly in the freezer. This way, you always have a homemade meal on hand for busy evenings. Write the date on the lid with a sticker - that way you know exactly how long it’s been!
