How should I best wash the Belize dinerborden?

The Belize dinerborden are dishwasher- and microwave-safe, so daily use is no problem. Still, we recommend washing them by hand — this protects the reactive glaze finish best and keeps the colours looking great. • Do not use abrasive cleaners: these will damage the glaze. • Stack the plates carefully: this prevents scratches and chips. The plates are made of sturdy stoneware, suitable for heavy use at home and in the hospitality industry.

Are the plates oven-safe as well?

Yes, the Belize dinerborden are oven-safe. You can use them to keep dishes warm in the oven — handy when hosting and wanting to serve everything at the right moment. In addition to being oven-safe, the plates are also suitable for the microwave and dishwasher, making them extra versatile for everyday use.

Are all six plates the same colour, or are there variations in the set?

The set contains plates in three shades: green, beige and blue. So you get a mix of colours, creating a modern and varied table setting. There’s more: the reactive glaze finish produces small colour variations on each plate. Each plate is therefore slightly different — an intentional choice that enhances the artisanal, authentic look.

Is this set suitable for use in a restaurant or professional kitchen?

Absolutely. The Belize dinerborden, thanks to their sturdy stoneware and timeless design, are explicitly suitable for hospitality use, such as restaurants and cafés. The material withstands daily heavy use, and the set is microwave-, oven- and dishwasher-safe — practical features that are useful in a professional environment as well.

What are the exact dimensions of the plates and how many pieces are in the set?

Each plate has a diameter of 25 cm — a generous size that’s well suited for main courses and elaborate dinners. The set consists of 6 dinner plates, ideal for a family or a dinner with friends. The underside of each plate is white and features a subtle embossed texture.
