Are these steak knives suitable for other meat dishes besides steak?
Absolutely. The smooth stainless-steel blade is not exclusive to steak: it will slice a roast or grilled meat just as neatly. The smooth blade — without a serrated edge — gives a clean, precise cut through any meat dish at the table.
Why can't these knives go in the dishwasher?
The combination of olive wood and stainless steel requires gentle care. Handwashing with lukewarm water preserves both the finish of the wooden handles and the sharpness of the steel blade for longer. After washing, drying immediately is the recommended method.
Is the set also suitable as a gift, and what does the packaging include?
Yes. The set comes in an elegant gift box, so you can give it straight away without extra wrapping. The packaging contains six Laguiole steakmessen with olive wood handles.
