Black+Blum Lunch Box Small Olive - Stainless Steel - 600 ml

You've packed your lunch with the best of intentions - a proper homemade soup, a hearty curry, or a freshly dressed salad. Then you arrive at work, open your bag, and find the lid has given up. Again. Sound familiar? The Black+Blum Lunch Box Small Olive puts an end to that daily frustration for good. This 600 ml stainless steel lunch box seals so tightly - thanks to a genuine vacuum closure - that you can carry it upside down in your bag without a single drop escaping. No more cling film, no more disposable containers, no more lunchtime disappointments.

Why This Lunch Box Is in a League of Its Own

There are lunch boxes, and then there is the Black+Blum. The difference is not just in the sharp, minimalist design - it is in how thoughtfully every detail has been considered. From the robust stainless steel construction to the stainless steel fork tucked neatly under the olive-green silicone band, this is a lunch box that genuinely works with you. Every single day.

• 100% leakproof vacuum seal - Soup, curry, pasta with sauce: everything travels safely without a drop escaping. The valve on the lid controls the seal: press to close, press again to release.
• Fully stainless steel and plastic-free - No plastic lining to absorb yesterday's smells, no coating that chips over time. Pure steel, a silicone seal, and nothing else.
• Stainless steel fork included - Stored neatly under the olive silicone band, your fork is always with you. No more rummaging in drawers or improvising with a plastic throwaway.
• Compact and bag-friendly - At 600 ml and just 175 x 130 x 50 mm, this lunch box slots into any bag, backpack, or tote without fuss.
• Freezer to oven, no switching - Prep on Sunday, freeze, then reheat directly in the oven at work. No extra dishes, no faff.

The Vacuum Seal: Simple to Use, Seriously Impressive

It sounds almost too good to be true: a lunch box that genuinely does not leak, even when you drop it in your bag at an angle or shove it under your gym kit. Yet that is exactly what the Black+Blum Lunch Box Small Olive does. The valve on the lid creates a vacuum seal that holds the lid firmly in place, whether you are carrying soup, a dressed salad, or a saucy stir-fry. There is no complicated mechanism, no fiddly locking clips, no extra parts to lose.

Using it is straightforward: fill the box, put the lid on, press the valve, and the vacuum does the rest. Opening is just as easy - press the valve to release the vacuum and the lid lifts off cleanly. That reassuring click as the seal engages is something you will come to love. It signals that your lunch is safe, your bag is safe, and your morning commute just got a lot less stressful.

The silicone band in the warm olive colourway does more than give the box its distinctive, understated look. It holds the lid securely as an extra layer of protection, and doubles as the perfect holder for the included stainless steel fork. Everything you need, in one compact package.

Stainless Steel and Plastic-Free: Quality That Lasts

The Black+Blum lunch box is made entirely from stainless steel - no plastic inner lining, no coating that degrades over time, no lingering odours from three lunches ago. Stainless steel is naturally hygienic, taste-neutral, and built to handle years of daily use without complaint. That is the kind of quality that makes practical sense: buy once, use for years, and never think about replacing it.

Cleaning is refreshingly simple too. The stainless steel box and the fork are dishwasher-safe - just toss them in with your regular load. The lid and silicone band need a quick hand wash, which takes less than a minute. Durability and everyday convenience, working together rather than against each other.

From Freezer to Oven: The Most Versatile Lunch Box in Your Kitchen

If you are a meal-prepper - or you would like to become one - this lunch box becomes your most reliable kitchen companion. Fill it with leftover stew, a portion of soup, or a batch of roasted vegetables on Sunday evening. Seal it up, slide it into the freezer, and it is ready to grab on a busy Monday morning. At the office or at home, the stainless steel box goes straight into the oven to reheat, no decanting needed, no extra washing up.

That combination of freezer-proof and oven-proof performance is genuinely rare in a lunch box this compact. It means you can build a whole week of proper, homemade lunches in one session, and still enjoy them hot and fresh every day. A small habit shift with a big impact on how you eat during the week.

Note: the lid and silicone band are not oven-safe or dishwasher-safe - give them a quick hand rinse and they are done.

💡 Cookinglife Tip: Make Sunday your secret weapon. Portion leftover soup, curry, or a grain bowl directly into the Black+Blum lunch box, seal it, and freeze. On a hectic morning, grab it straight from the freezer - no decisions, no prep. By lunchtime, a warm, genuinely satisfying meal is waiting for you, made entirely by you. That is a moment worth looking forward to.
