How should I best wash the bundt pan?

Always wash the baking pan by hand — the dishwasher is not an option for this pan. Use warm water, a mild dish soap and a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid steel wool and abrasive scouring pads, as they will damage the non-stick coating. Rinse the pan thoroughly and dry it immediately with a clean cloth.

Can I use this bundt pan in the microwave?

No. The baking pan is made of steel, and metal pans should not be used in the microwave. Use the pan only in the oven.

Which kitchen utensils should I use to remove my bundt cake?

Choose silicone or wooden utensils when releasing the cake from the pan. Metal spatulas and knives can scratch the non-stick coating, reducing the release effect and causing the pan to wear out faster.

Should I grease the pan or does the non-stick coating provide sufficient release?

The non-stick coating already provides good release. Still, it’s advisable to lightly grease the pan before use with butter or baking spray — especially in the deeper ridges and curves of a bundt pan. A thin layer of fat reduces the chance of sticking in the more complex parts of the mold.

How should I store the pan so the non-stick coating stays intact?

Store the bundt pan in a dry, clean place and do not stack heavy objects on top. If you place the pan on or under other baking pans, use a soft cloth or a sheet of baking paper as protection against scratches to the non-stick coating.
