BerlingerHaus Teapot with Stainless Steel Filter - Cast Iron Matte Cream - 1 Liter

Brewing tea is a ritual. No rush, no hassle - just that moment when you hear the electric kettle click, the aroma of fresh tea rises, and you take a moment to relax. The BerlingerHaus Teapot Cast Iron Matte Cream from the Sahara collection completes that moment. Not just any teapot - but one that keeps your tea exceptionally warm for hours, looks stylish on the table, and lasts for years without any compromise.

Why Cast Iron Makes a Difference

Cast iron is not a trend. It is an age-old choice of people who understand how heat works. While a thin-walled glass or ceramic teapot lets your tea cool down within twenty minutes, cast iron retains heat like no other material. The BerlingerHaus teapot keeps your tea exceptionally warm - so you won't be drinking reheated, bland tea with your second cup, but have just as flavorful an experience as with the first cup.

And then that matte cream color. Soft, warm, timeless. Whether you have a modern or classic interior, this teapot simply looks good. On a set table, on a tray by the couch, or as an elegant centerpiece on a Sunday morning table - this pot has character.

Enjoying Loose Tea, Hassle-Free

Loose tea leaves provide much more flavor than bags - every tea lover knows that. But brewing it needs to be easy. The included 18/10 stainless steel filter fits perfectly in the pot and keeps all the tea leaves and fresh herbs neatly in place. No floating leaves in your cup, no fiddling with a separate tea strainer. Just put loose tea in, pour hot water over it, wait a moment, and enjoy.

The filter is easy to remove and clean - and thanks to the high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, it will last for years. This is exactly how a well-designed teapot should work: intuitive, thoughtful, and without frustration.

• Exceptional heat retention - Cast iron keeps tea warm for hours, perfect for slow Sunday mornings or long gatherings with friends
• Enamelled interior - Flavor-neutral, rust-free, and easy to clean - no residual tastes, just pure tea
• 18/10 stainless steel filter - Ideal for loose tea leaves and fresh herbs, easy to place and remove
• Induction compatible - You can place the teapot directly on your induction plate to keep tea warm or reheat it
• Matte cream finish - Stylish and timeless, looks beautiful on any set table or tray
• Includes lid - Heat stays longer, tea infuses better, and you don't have to search for anything
• Capacity of 1 liter - Spacious enough for four full cups of tea - perfect for company

Induction, Keeping Warm, and Smart Design

Keeping tea warm on an induction plate? With this teapot, that’s no problem at all. The cast iron base is fully suitable for induction, which means you can simply place the pot on your plate when you want to keep the tea warm during a long conversation or an extended tea moment. That’s a detail you truly appreciate when it’s needed.

The enamelled interior ensures that the flavor of your tea always remains pure. No metallic taste, no deposits, no residues from previous tea sessions. Just a clean, neutral base that lets the full flavor of your tea speak - whether it’s a light green tea, a robust English breakfast tea, or an aromatic herbal blend.

Hand washing is recommended - and honestly, a teapot of this caliber deserves that extra minute of attention. Just rinse it with warm water, remove the filter, clean it, and you’re done. Proper maintenance means this pot will look and function just as well ten years from now as it did on day one.

The Sahara Collection: Style with Substance

The BerlingerHaus Sahara collection combines warm earth tones with durable materials that withstand the test of time. Matte cream is a color that fits both a modern kitchen and a rustic interior. It’s not flashy design - it’s a conscious choice for refined simplicity. A teapot that fits just as well with a spontaneous cup during the week as with a carefully arranged tea set on Sunday.

This is not a decorative piece that you take off the shelf once a year. This is a pot you want to use daily, that you want to bring to the table, that catches people’s attention when they enter your home, and about which they immediately ask: "What a beautiful teapot - where is it from?"

💡 Tip from Cookinglife: Rinse the teapot with hot water before the first use. Then let a light tea brew (tea without milk or sugar) and throw it away - this prepares the enamelled interior for optimal use. After that, you’ll immediately taste the difference: pure, clean, flavorful.
