FAQ

Which pans are included in this set?

The WMF Quality One pan set consists of five pieces: • Low cooking pot Ø 16 cm with lid (1.7 liters) • Low cooking pot Ø 20 cm with lid (3.3 liters) • High cooking pot Ø 20 cm with lid (4.0 liters) • High cooking pot Ø 24 cm with lid (6.8 liters) • Saucepan Ø 16 cm (1.5 liters) Each cooking pot comes with a matching lid.

Can I use this pan set in the oven?

Yes, the WMF Quality One pans are oven-safe up to 250 °C. Handy for dishes you sear first and then finish in the oven. Note: the pans are not suitable for the microwave.

How do I best clean these pans?

The pans are dishwasher-safe, but with the right manual cleaning they will last even longer. This works best: • Clean the pans immediately after use with warm water and a soft sponge. • Dry them thoroughly to prevent water spots and deposits. • Do not use abrasive cleaning agents — they will damage the smooth stainless steel surface. • Also do not use metal spatulas while cooking to avoid scratches. The material is 100% 18/10 stainless steel: scratch-resistant, rust-resistant and hygienic.

How should I preheat these pans for the best result?

Always heat the pans slowly for even temperature distribution. This prevents hot spots and ensures your dishes cook evenly. Never heat the pan empty — without contents the pan can deform. Also always check that the lid fits properly before you start cooking.

Do the handles get hot during cooking?

No — and that is exactly what sets the WMF Quality One apart. Thanks to the patented Cool+ technology the handles are hollow on the inside. This means the handle conducts much less heat and stays cool during cooking. This makes this set extra safe and comfortable for everyday use.
