FAQ

Is this dinnerware dishwasher-safe?

Earthenware such as the Murano Beige set tolerates damp conditions, but for the longest lifespan it's best to wash your dinnerware by hand. Warm water, a soft sponge and mild dish soap keep the relief and the beige tone in top condition. This way the vintage character of the plates remains intact for years.

Can I use the plates in the microwave or oven?

The plates are made of earthenware — a material that conducts heat well but shouldn't be placed in every oven or microwave without care. Preferably use the plates for serving hot dishes, not for reheating them. This prevents thermal shocks that can damage the earthenware.

Do these plates go well with the tableware I already have?

Yes — and that's exactly the strength of this design. The soft beige hue and subtle relief have been deliberately kept timeless, so the Murano Beige set combines effortlessly with: • Modern dinnerware in neutral tones such as white, cream or gray • Country or rustic dinnerware with natural materials and earthy colors The set suits both modern and rustic interior styles.

What are the exact dimensions of the plates in this set?

The 18-piece set consists of three types of plates, each in its own size: • Dinner plate: Ø 27.5 cm • Deep plate: Ø 18.5 cm • Dessert plate: Ø 20 cm There are 6 pieces of each variant in the package, enough for a complete table setting for 6 people.

How should I care for earthenware dinnerware?

Earthenware is sturdy but requires some attention to enjoy it for a long time. Follow these tips: • Preferably wash by hand in warm water with a mild dish soap — this best protects the relief and the color. • Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as going directly from the refrigerator to a hot environment. This can cause cracking. • Stack carefully: place a tea towel or felt pad between plates when storing them to prevent scratches on the surface. The dinnerware is made from sturdy earthenware with a soft beige finish and subtle relief.
