FAQ

Can I use these plates in the microwave or oven?

The Cosy & Trendy Sintra Ivy Green plates are not suitable for use in the oven. Want to warm something up? Use the microwave — ceramic is fine in the microwave as long as the plate has no gold-colored or metallic details. These plates are primarily intended for serving breakfast, desserts and light dishes.

How do I properly care for these ceramic plates?

With the right care these plates will last for years. Keep it simple: • Wash them preferably with a mild dishwashing detergent — that helps keep the glaze intact. • Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can damage the surface. • Let the plates dry thoroughly before storing them to prevent moisture buildup. The plates are dishwasher-safe, which makes everyday use extra easy.

Can small color variations between the plates be normal?

Yes — and that's actually characteristic of quality ceramics. Because each plate is glazed by hand, there may be slight color variations between pieces in the set. This is not a defect, but a feature of the artisanal glazing process. Each set is therefore a little unique.

Can these plates be combined with other tableware?

Definitely. The fresh Ivy Green color of the Sintra-serie pairs well with various tableware, both neutral tones (white, cream, gray) and other earthy colors. The plates have a diameter of 20 cm, making them ideal as breakfast or dessert plates alongside a larger dinner plate or bowl. The Sintra-serie is part of the wider Cosy & Trendy range, where styles and colors are often coordinated.

How many plates are in the package and what is the size?

The set contains 4 breakfast/dessert plates from the Sintra Ivy Green collection. Each plate has a diameter of ø 20 cm, which is the ideal size for breakfast, pastries, or light desserts. The plates are made of sturdy ceramic and suitable for everyday use.
