Note: when removing from the dishwasher, the bottom ring may sometimes still be a bit damp, which can cause rings. This applies to practically every stoneware tableware. This is not the case with porcelain.

Can I use these plates in the microwave?
Yes, the Studio Tavola Ontbijtborden / Dessertborden Earth are microwave-safe. You can safely put them in the microwave to warm up your breakfast or dessert.
What should I know about caring for earthenware plates?
These plates are dishwasher-safe, so daily care is simple. Note one quirk of earthenware: the undersides of the plates may be damp after the dishwasher, which can leave rings on your tabletop or countertop. This is normal for earthenware and not a manufacturing defect. • Let the plates dry briefly after the dishwasher cycle before stacking or putting them away. • This keeps both your plates and your table surface in good condition.
Are these plates suitable as dessert plates as well, or only for breakfast?
These plates are perfectly suitable for both breakfast and dessert. With a diameter of 20 cm they are the ideal size for: • A breakfast with bread, fruit or yogurt • A slice of cake or pastry • A dessert at dinner The versatile size makes them suitable for everyday use and special occasions.
