About Cookinglife

FAQ

How do I clean the coasters?

It’s very simple. Wipe the coasters after use with a damp cloth — the supple faux leather can easily handle that. That way they always look well cared for. Harsh cleaners or scouring pads are unnecessary and can damage the material, so keep it simple.

Are the coasters also suitable for hot pans or oven dishes?

The coasters are intended to protect against rings and stains from glasses, cups and bottles. They are made of faux leather, a material that is not designed for direct contact with very hot pans or oven dishes. Use a separate pot holder or trivet for that. They work excellently for warm tableware — think teapots or coffee pots.

How many coasters are in the set and what are the dimensions?

The set contains 6 coasters, each measuring 10 x 10 cm. That’s a practical square size that fits most glasses, cups and mugs.

Is the material real leather or faux leather?

The coasters are made of vegan faux leather — so no animal materials. The faux leather is supple, looks stylish and is easy to keep clean.

Are the coasters also suitable for outdoor use, such as on a garden table?

The coasters are primarily intended for indoor use. Faux leather can wear or fade faster with prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. Occasional outdoor use — for example during a summer dinner on the terrace — is fine, but store them indoors afterwards.

Customer photo review of Cookinglife Onderzetters - Vegan leer - Zwart - 10 x 10 cm - 6 stuks
