In our frying pan sets, a 24 cm pan almost always accompanies a 28 cm pan. If a 24 cm is your only frying pan, the most important factor is how much you need to cook at once.
With the SCANPAN Frying Pan CTX ø 24 cm, the bottom is 16.3 cm wide, while the SCANPAN Frying Pan Classic Induction ø 24 cm has a width of 18.2 cm. Your food sits on that area, and there is space for two small steaks at once or for three fried eggs.
If you need to cook four large schnitzels at once, the 28 cm frying pans will give you more room. According to our frying pan expert, a smaller pan, such as one of the 20 cm frying pans, is sufficient for just yourself. If the size is still completely open, it is better to first determine which size frying pan you need.
Which 24 you place next to a 28 can be determined by that large pan:
A 24 with a ceramic layer takes over the eggs and fish from a 28 without a layer. For that task, the Sola Frying Pan Stonehenge ø 24 cm, an aluminum pan with a PFAS-free layer, is suitable.

A 24 without a layer takes over the steak and chop from a 28 with a layer. The Sola Frying Pan Green Cooking+ Triply Stainless Steel ø 24 cm is such a stainless steel pan; your eggs will then remain in the 28.

A 24 of the same type as your 28 takes over the second part of the meal, such as the vegetables that need to be ready at the same time as the meat.
The Beka Frying Pan Maestro Alu ø 24 cm touches the cooktop over a width of about 19 cm, slightly more than the two SCANPAN pans. On a cooking zone that is just too small for 28 cm, it covers more of the zone than a narrower 24. It has a ceramic layer on forged aluminum.

If you have zones of different sizes, it is worth checking the table with the bottom size for induction frying pans.
The lid from your old 24 cm pan usually also fits your new one. That works out well, as the pans here do not have one.
If you no longer have a lid, you can take the SCANPAN Lid Classic Glass ø 24 cm with it. You do not need to have a SCANPAN pan; that glass lid is designed for various 24 cm pans.
