Forget salmon sticking to the pan, meat that doesn't brown, and sauces burning in the wrong place: with the KitchenAid Frying Pan Set Multi-Ply Stainless Steel, you cook as it should be. No non-stick coating that wears off, no uneven heat, no compromises. Just two professional frying pans that last for years and do exactly what you want.
Serious cooking starts with serious materials. And this is it.
The term "Multi-Ply" sounds technical, but what it means for you is actually very simple: even cooking, always. The bottom and walls of these KitchenAid pans consist of multiple layers of compressed material - stainless steel on the outside and inside, with an aluminum core in between. Aluminum conducts heat quickly and evenly, while stainless steel provides durability and a neutral cooking surface.
The result? No hot spots where your butter burns or your onion sticks. No cold zones where your meat stays gray instead of beautifully brown. Every inch of the pan does exactly the same work. You can taste that in your dishes - and that's the point.
Moreover, the Multi-Ply construction extends into the walls. That sounds obvious, but many cheaper alternatives only have a thick bottom - and as soon as the dish climbs up the walls, you notice the difference immediately. Not here.
Stainless steel pans without coating require a bit more attention than a non-stick pan, but once you master the technique, you'll never go back. The secret? Temperature. Preheat the pan well on medium heat, then add your fat and wait until the fat starts to shimmer before placing your ingredients in.
At that moment, meat releases from itself. No pulling, no tearing. Just a nice, golden-brown crust that releases the meat at the right moment. That's the Maillard effect in full glory, and a stainless steel pan gives you the maximum control to achieve that.
Additional benefit: stainless steel does not react with acidic ingredients like tomatoes or citrus. While some coatings may wear off or discolor over time with acidic dishes, this pan simply holds up. Year after year.
💡 Cookinglife Tip: Starting with a stainless steel pan? Do the water droplet test. Drop a droplet of water into the preheated pan. If the droplet rolls and dances like a marble - the so-called Leidenfrost state - the pan is at the right temperature. Then you can add the fat and start cooking. Fast, easy, and always good.
The set consists of a ø 24 cm frying pan and a ø 28 cm frying pan - and that's no random choice. Those two sizes complement each other in a way that you notice every day.
The 24 cm pan is your go-to for breakfast and small dishes: scrambled eggs for two, a fried egg, a quick pasta sauce, or some roasted bell pepper. Compact, maneuverable, and quickly reaches temperature.
The 28 cm pan takes care of the big work. Four chicken breasts at once, a nice ribeye with butter basting, or a richly filled shakshuka for the whole family. With that pouring edge, you can also flawlessly pour the leftover sauce over your plate without spilling a drop.
Together, they form a duo that can handle almost any culinary situation. From busy weekdays to a relaxed weekend where you really take the time for your dishes.
Ready to cook as it really should be? Add the KitchenAid Frying Pan Set Multi-Ply Stainless Steel to your kitchen and discover the difference between a pan you have and a pan you use with pleasure. Every day, every dish, every moment at the table.
