FAQ

What exactly do you use a fuel paste holder for?

A fuel paste holder is the handy part of your fondue or gourmet set that keeps the fuel paste in place under the set. The holder ensures the flame burns steadily and controllably, so your fondue pan or gourmet pan stays at the right temperature while you eat. The Cosy & Trendy fuel paste holder falls under the Fondue & Gourmet category and is intended for use with fuel paste as the heat source.

Does this fuel paste holder work with other fondue or gourmet sets?

The Cosy & Trendy fuel paste holder is specially designed for use with fuel paste as the heat source. If you combine it with another set, make sure the holder’s dimensions match your set or fondue pan. Want to be sure everything fits? Combine the holder with other products from the Cosy & Trendy range for the best fit.

How do you clean the fuel paste holder after use?

After using fuel paste, soot marks or greasy residue can remain on the holder. The best way to clean the holder is by hand: • Let the holder cool completely before handling it. • Remove any residues with a damp cloth or a soft sponge. • Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the material. This way the holder stays in good condition for next time.

Does the holder come with fuel paste, or do I have to buy it separately?

The Cosy & Trendy fuel paste holder is a separate holder — fuel paste is not included. For a complete fondue or gourmet evening you will need to purchase fuel paste separately in addition to the holder. You can find fuel paste and all related accessories in the Fuel Paste category at Cookinglife.

Is the fuel paste holder suitable for use on the table, or only in the kitchen?

The fuel paste holder is intended for use at the table — that’s the great joy of fondue and gourmet. You place the holder under the set, light the fuel paste, and put the fondue pan on top. Pay attention to safety: • Always use the holder on a heat-resistant mat or surface. • Ensure adequate ventilation and keep the flame away from flammable materials. • Never leave the holder unattended while the fuel paste is burning.
