Place the chicken and the piri piri marinade (you can reserve a little of the marinade to serve with the skewers later) in a bowl and season well with sea salt.
Stir to combine, cover and refrigerate to marinate, at least 3 hours, but preferably overnight.
Thread the chicken thigh pieces onto skewers and grill until golden brown and cooked through on the barbecue, or in a lightly oiled grill pan.
Serve them in the serving glasses on a bed of lettuce, sprinkle with some grated carrot and serve a chili sauce on the side for dipping!

These piri piri chicken skewers are perfect for the barbecue or a grill pan. The spicy marinade gives the chicken a delicious, spiced flavor. The longer the chicken marinates, the more intense the flavor becomes. Marinating overnight gives the best result.
Serve the skewers in a serving glass on a bed of fresh lettuce with some grated carrot on top. Place a small bowl of chili sauce alongside for dipping. This way you have a festive and flavorful dish that everyone at the table will appreciate.
