Glutenvrije Falafelsalade

Since I first made falafel myself almost two years ago, I've been completely hooked. It's simple and healthy, but unfortunately falafel is often not gluten-free when you eat out. What a pain! You also don't have to deep-fry falafel, as is often done. You can easily cook these falafels in a pan or in the Airfryer. And since after a while you get tired of wraps or pappadums, or just want to eat more vegetables, this gluten-free falafel salad is a real winner. We eat it here quite regularly and now I've finally written the recipe down. Yesss!

Gluten-Free Falafel Salad

I love this recipe when you don't want something too heavy, but also don't fancy a too-light meal salad. This salad is filling and vegetarian.

Gluten-Free Falafel Salad

How do you make a falafel salad?

    1. Make the falafels according to the recipe via the link (or buy ready-made) and fry until crispy in the koekenpan or Airfryer.
    2. Mix the quark with sambal, lemon juice, water and ground cumin to make a dressing.
    3. Dice the tomatoes and cucumber.
    4. Pile a generous amount of lettuce on your plate and spread the tomato and cucumber over it. Top with the falafel and garnish with the yogurt-cumin dressing.
    5. Super simple and a salad that's enough for a full evening meal! Enjoy!

I love this recipe when you don't want to eat something too heavy, but also don't feel like a too-light meal salad. It may be a vegetarian dinner, but believe me; you'll feel full when you've finished this. I'm apparently quite a big eater, so maybe you'll be full even before you finish it ;-). In any case, it's unbelievably tasty. The BF loves it too, and I take that as a good sign.

This gluten-free falafel salad is a complete and nutritious meal that you can put on the table in no time. The spicy cumin-yogurt dressing makes it extra flavorful. Perfect for a light but filling dinner for two!
