WMF Knife Block Kineo 6-piece
Performance Cut – twice as sharp as the standard requires
Stylish bamboo knife block that looks great on your countertop
Complete set for all everyday cutting tasks
Every serious home cook knows the truth: your knives make or break your kitchen. Not just how sharp they are, but how they feel in your hand, how they store safely, and yes - how they look sitting on your counter. The WMF Kineo Knife Block 6-piece set gets all of that right. This is the knife set that earns its spot in your kitchen every single day - from the first slice of sourdough in the morning to carving the Sunday roast.
Whether you're finely chopping fresh herbs, breaking down a chicken, or sawing through a crusty baguette, this set has you covered with the right tool every single time. No compromises, no improvising with the wrong blade. Just clean, confident cuts - every moment you cook.
Why the WMF Kineo Knife Block Belongs on Your Counter
- Complete from day one - A chef's knife, carving knife, bread knife, vegetable knife, and kitchen shears - everything you actually need, nothing you don't.
- German craftsmanship - Made in Germany, WMF brings decades of precision engineering to every single blade in this set.
- Performance Cut technology - The blades are laser-cut and honed to an exceptional edge, so you get through ingredients cleanly and effortlessly.
- Stunning on any counter - The warm wood block in brown, black, and silver tones isn't just functional - it's a statement piece your kitchen actually deserves.
- Built to last for years - This isn't a set you replace in two years. WMF Kineo is quality that pays for itself over and over again.
- Safe and organized storage - Every knife has its own dedicated slot, keeping blades protected and your fingers safe when reaching in.
Blades That Mean Business
The four knives in this set are not decorative. The 20 cm chef's knife is your go-to workhorse - mincing garlic, dicing onions, slicing through bell peppers with a satisfying, clean motion. The 20 cm carving knife glides through roasted meats and fish like it was born for the job. Dinner service just got a whole lot more elegant. Then there's the 20 cm bread knife with its serrated edge - the kind that actually cuts without crushing, so your loaf stays fluffy inside while you get those perfect, even slices on the outside. And the compact 9 cm vegetable knife? That's the one you reach for dozens of times a day without even thinking about it - peeling, trimming, slicing small fruit and veg with precision and ease.
WMF's Performance Cut manufacturing process ensures each blade holds its edge longer than you'd expect. That means more time cooking and enjoying, and less time hunting down a sharpener between uses.
A Knife Block That Earns Its Place
Let's be honest - most knife blocks are ugly. They sit on your counter demanding attention while adding nothing visually. The WMF Kineo block is different. The warm wooden housing pairs effortlessly with modern and classic kitchen aesthetics alike. The brown, black, and silver color palette is understated but distinctive - the kind of detail that makes guests notice something looks right without knowing exactly why.
At 111 mm wide and 161 mm tall, it's compact enough not to crowd your counter, yet it holds six items securely and accessibly. The weight of 2320 grams gives it solid stability - it stays put, even when you're pulling out a knife in a hurry. That's the kind of thoughtful engineering you expect from a brand that's been perfecting kitchen tools for well over a century.
And don't underestimate the kitchen shears. Good kitchen scissors are one of those tools you don't know you need until you have a great pair - snipping herbs directly over a dish, trimming meat, opening packaging without ruining your knife edges. The Kineo shears are included in the set and stored neatly in the block alongside your knives.
The WMF Kineo Knife Block in Your Daily Kitchen Routine
Imagine this: it's a Tuesday evening, you're making a Thai-inspired stir-fry. You reach for the chef's knife, slice through lemongrass, ginger, and spring onions without resistance. The blade feels balanced, the handle sits naturally in your grip, and every cut is exactly where you intended it. No wrestling with your ingredients. No frustration. Just flow - the kind of cooking session that reminds you why you love being in the kitchen in the first place.
That's what the right knife set does. It doesn't just make cooking easier. It makes it more enjoyable. More satisfying. More you.
💡 Tip: To keep your WMF Kineo knives sharp and performing at their best, hand wash them with warm soapy water and dry immediately - avoid the dishwasher. A few extra seconds of care means these knives will stay razor-sharp and serve you beautifully for many years to come.
